i work at the national film board of canada where i make websites for films and i teach a journalism class at a local university.

jordan crane, dave cooper, julie doucet, jillian tamaki, gipi, jean-jacques sempe, blutch, urasawa, shin takahashi, miyazaki, hiroaki samura.
3. what do you do to keep the inspirations coming.
draw. travel. walk. ride my bike. drink whiskey. listen to sam cooke. read jillian’s blog. read comics by julie doucet or gipi.

Yoshitomo Nara was arrested when he drew a smiley face on a public train when he was drunk. But earlier in the afternoon he draw some masterpiece on a bar (that make him get drunk) that received a more appreciative responds. The bar put plexiglass on the artwork.
